So my friend Dave always mocked acoustic sets as boring. He got dragged to this tiny backroom show where the singer's voice cracked on the high notes. It totally blew him away, said it felt human in a way big concerts never do. Now he says most overproduced stuff just sounds fake to him, everything just clicked that night.

My cousin's basement gig changed my take on raw vocals, you ever had that?

Yeah, basement gigs have that unpolished energy that makes raw vocals hit different. @patlopez it's like you hear the emotion way more when there's no studio filter. I mean, it kinda ruins overproduced tracks for me now.
