Man, this is so true. My buddy tried a new app for sending money overseas last year. He was stoked about the low fees on his first few small transfers. Then he needed to move a larger amount quickly, and that's when the "express service" fee appeared out of nowhere, plus the exchange rate was much worse than advertised. He told me he felt totally blindsided because the app never made those costs clear upfront. It really does feel like they hide the real prices until you're in deep.

Read an article that said the enzymes in those cleaners really do love a bit of warmth (like baby bottle warm, not hot). It totally backs up what you're both saying, especially @webb.viola's point about giving them time to soak. I guess the heat just gets them started eating the gunk faster. Makes me wonder if super hot water might actually kill some of the good bugs though.
