Found a game in my collection I don't remember buying

I was sorting through my old SNES cartridges last weekend. I keep finding a copy of Super Metroid that I swear was never there before. The label looks right, but the save files have names I didn't pick. It's been sitting on the shelf for years without me noticing. Stuff like this makes me miss when game quirks just felt like part of the fun.

Sounds spooky, but I see it another way. Maybe you just forgot buying it, or a friend left it at your place. Old memories can get fuzzy, especially with stuff from years ago. Calling it a fun quirk seems off to me. It's more likely a simple mix-up that happens to everyone.
