Rant: I always thought you needed a full week for a Danish oil cure in my Portland shop, but a humidity spike last month made a piece tacky after just 3 days.

Has anyone else had a finish react like that to a sudden weather change, and what's your go-to fix when the air gets thick?

Wait, a humidity spike in Portland? That's wild (I thought it was just always damp there). Having it go tacky that fast is a nightmare. I've had to use a hair dryer on low heat to gently push it over the finish line before.

Yeah @jamie770, I saw a guy on a forum melt the varnish right off a guitar body with a heat gun set too high.
