I used to write letters to my cousin in Portland but now we just send voice notes.
I mean, it started about two years ago when she said texting felt too slow, so we switched to just recording our day over coffee, and honestly, hearing her laugh makes it feel way more like she's right here on the porch with me, you know?

My aunt still sends me postcards from her road trips. The handwriting is half the fun, you know? It's like holding a little piece of her trip in your hands.
