Tried a new way to track my work hours and it backfired
I read about a time blocking app called Focus Keeper last week and decided to give it a shot. I set it up to work in 90 minute chunks with strict breaks in between. By the second day, I missed a deadline because the app kept stopping my timer during a deep work phase. I learned that rigid systems can break when a real client project needs flexibility. Has anyone found a good middle ground for tracking time without it getting in the way?

Sounds like the app focused a little too hard, huh? My own system is a sticky note that I mostly ignore.

You know how it goes, right? They build this whole app to manage your sticky notes, then it needs an app to manage the app. Next thing you know you're spending three hours setting up color codes for your grocery list instead of just buying milk.

Honestly, my grocery list app has folders for different stores. Tbh I have a problem.
