Went back to the old Ajax plant in Cleveland and the silence got me
They turned the main floor into some kind of tech office space, all clean floors and quiet. I stood where the number 3 cupola used to roar and you could hear a phone ring from across the room. Does anyone else feel like we're losing the places that made the trade feel real?

My buddy found his dad's old time card in a demo wall at the Packard plant. Just held it and stared.
