My foreman insisted I switch to a #6 zirconia wash for that big bronze pour

I thought it was overkill for the job, but we had zero burn-on and the surface finish was perfect. Anyone have a different wash they swear by for intricate bronze work?

Well, I've learned to trust the foreman even when it seems like overkill.

Foremen get things wrong too, sometimes their extra steps just waste time and money. A good enough finish is fine for most jobs.
