Yeah, it's funny how that works. I see it all the time, like my neighbor who bought a crazy expensive Japanese kitchen knife just to make better sandwiches. Or people getting a pro-level camera just for vacation photos. That one perfect tool for your thing, even if it's overkill, just makes the whole hobby feel more real. It's not about the money, it's about buying into the craft.
