My first open house in Seattle last month was a total circus

I walked into this cute bungalow and immediately saw a cat in the kitchen sink. The realtor just shrugged and said 'the owner's a bit eccentric.' Then I opened a closet and found a life-size cardboard cutout of a 90s movie star. The final straw was the basement, which was just a concrete room painted bright pink with a single lawn chair in the middle. Has anyone else seen something this bizarre while house hunting?

Found a shrine to garden gnomes once.

Man, that's wild. @anthony129's jungle room sounds like someone's weird art project got interrupted by real life. Makes you wonder if the gnome shrine was also part of some bigger plan that just fell apart.

Ever seen a house where they clearly gave up on a project halfway through? Went to look at a place where someone had started to turn the living room into a jungle theme. One wall was painted like vines, there was a fake parrot on a stand, and then they just stopped. Rest of the room was normal beige with a big ladder and paint cans in the corner. Felt like walking onto a movie set that ran out of money.
