Choosing between a fixer-upper and a move-in ready condo was way harder than I thought

My partner and I were looking in the North End and found two places in our budget. One was a 1920s duplex that needed a new kitchen and roof, listed at $325,000. The other was a modern condo for $340,000 that needed nothing. We went with the condo because we just didn't have the cash or time for big repairs right after closing. It's been six months and honestly, coming home to a place with no projects is a huge relief after work. Has anyone else faced a similar choice and regretted or were happy with their pick?
