My best trading day ever was a random Tuesday in March

I was sitting at my desk in Chicago and noticed a pattern on a small biotech stock I'd been watching for 3 months. The volume suddenly spiked at 10:15 AM so I bought 200 shares at $12.40. By 2 PM the stock hit $14.80 after they announced a positive trial result. I sold everything and walked away with $480 profit in under 4 hours. Has anyone else had a day where a simple hunch just paid off big?

Had a similar thing happen with a pharma stock last fall, bought in at $8.50 on a gut feeling and it jumped to $11 before lunch. Walked away with $350 in like 2 hours off pure luck and it felt amazing.

Man, that's the dream right there. Glad someone pulled it off, @faithcampbell. That gut feeling stuff is wild when it works out, but man, it's a gamble for sure. I've had days where I stared at a stock for weeks and it did nothing, then a random tip from a buddy paid off in an afternoon. Feels like you're cheating the system for a minute, but then you gotta remind yourself it's still a lottery. Enjoy that win, seriously. Those little victories keep you coming back even when the rest of the week stinks.

For real, pure luck hits different.
