Heading out to that beach house for a fence quote wasted my morning

The owner changed their mind after I got there. From now on, I take a deposit.

Charge deposits but clients still CAN cancel, just less likely.

Ugh, my friend did wedding makeup trials and got a last minute cancel for a Saturday slot after she drove an hour. She lost that whole income block. Totally get why @thomas.mary went non-negotiable, my friend now requires non refundable deposits for all weekend bookings too.
