Showerthought: Forgetting my keys led to a better morning

I used to panic over small delays, but locking myself out forced me to just sit on the porch. Watched the sunrise for the first time in years, and it was pretty decent.

Ever notice how people use "not bad" or "pretty decent" for actually amazing stuff? Seems to happen with food, weather, everything now.

Right? My buddy described a perfect beach day as 'not terrible.' Sun was out, waves were perfect. Could not believe the understatement. Happens all the time now.
