Drove 45 minutes to a fancy spa for a facial and the esthetician spent the whole time trying to upsell me products

Fancy spa" sounds like a fancy sales pitch instead.

I mean, calling it "fancy" just makes me wonder what's actually different about it compared to a regular spa day. A lot of places slap a higher price tag on the same old services and call it luxury. Is it really worth the extra cash just for some fancy towels and a cucumber?

Wow, $1200 for towels and a cucumber? That's wild. @nancycooper called it a sales pitch and honestly she's probably right. Most places just rename the same massage and call it "signature.
