Client's casual remark totally upgraded my facial routine
Doing a basic facial yesterday, my client mentioned she feels way more at ease when I chat about each product. I took her advice and now I narrate every step, like why I'm using a certain serum. Clients seem to zone out less and ask cool questions. It's made my job more fun too. Y'all do this or keep it quiet during treatments?

Chatting about products helps clients learn during the facial. They like knowing what's going on their skin and why it helps. This way, they feel more in control and invested in the results. It also stops the treatment from feeling like a passive thing they just sit through. When they ask questions, you get to tailor your advice to their specific concerns. Do you find clients remember your tips better when you talk them through the process?

Think about the balance between telling clients things and giving them too much. Your point makes sense, but I wonder if there's a limit to how much detail they want. Do you ever find that explaining every product step actually slows down the treatment or makes clients worried? I've seen some folks just want to relax, not get a science lesson. How do you change your talk for those types?

How do you find the right amount to explain without making it stressful? I get what @richardbailey means about some clients just wanting quiet time. The key is reading their mood and keeping the talk simple for those who seem tired. That way they still learn a bit but can relax and trust what you're doing.
