Just hit 500 repaired laptops in my home shop

It snuck up on me because I mostly just fix what comes in the door. The number matters because it made me realize how many devices I've kept out of the landfill. Anyone else track their repair counts and find it surprising?

Yeah, that "kept out of the landfill" feeling is the best part. I started tracking mine for the same reason and the total got way bigger than I expected.

Saw a blog post where someone tracked their repaired items for a year, @grantw32. They fixed a toaster, three pairs of jeans, and a lawnmower. The weight of stuff they kept from the trash was over 50 pounds.
