Vent: That expensive auto-taper I bought is gathering dust
Ngl, I dropped $2,800 on a brand new auto-taper last fall thinking it would speed up my jobs, but I've gone back to hand-taping every time because the finish just looks cleaner to me. Anyone else find these things more trouble than they're worth?

Hold up. $2,800? That's a pretty penny. Dropping that much on a tool that just ends up in the corner is rough. Hand taping does give me a cleaner look too most of the time, especially around tricky corners the machine just can't handle. That's a lot of mud and paper you could have bought with that kind of cash.

$2,800 is wild for something that collects dust tbh.
