The 3am peeling paint saga in my 1908 fixer
Discovered my bathroom ceiling was hiding five layers of old wallpaper under the paint. Spent a whole weekend in June scraping it off, found a nasty mold spot behind the bottom layer. Took a week to treat it with vinegar and bleach mix, then skim coated and repainted. Anyone hit a surprise like this behind old walls in a vintage house?

Found five layers of linoleum glued to my kitchen floor once, took a crowbar and a whole weekend to get it up.
