Can we talk about how my garage floor actually got lighter in 3 months

I bought my house in Phoenix last year and the previous owner had these dark oil stains all over the concrete from working on his 1992 F-150... I tried a pressure washer and degreaser twice but nothing really shifted them. Then I started parking my car on the street and just letting the Arizona sun hit the stains daily for 3 months and now they're almost completely gone. Has anyone else had sun exposure fix a stubborn garage floor stain like this without chemicals?

Read that UV rays break down organic compounds in stains over time, it's basically slow bleaching like how old posters fade in windows. Sounds like the Arizona heat and light just cooked those oil stains into dust basically. Makes me wonder if I can just leave a bucket of bleach water in the sun to speed things up.

Heard once that UV works better with oxygen in the mix like hydrogen peroxide does.
