I spent two weeks there and the main cultural export seems to be influencer photo shoots and a profound sense of being in a very expensive, very online bubble.

Twenty bucks isn't crazy if it's a huge portion with quality ingredients. Places use fancy bread, heirloom tomatoes, and real labor costs add up. Sometimes you're just paying for the whole experience of eating out.
