Showerthought: I spent $200 on an AI content tool that wrote total garbage
I bought into the hype around Jasper back in February. Dropped $200 on a monthly subscription. Thought it would save me time writing blog posts for my client's site. Instead it spat out generic fluff that read like a robot having a seizure. Every paragraph had the same 3 sentence structure. Zero original insights. My client noticed immediately and said it sounded like SEO spam. I wasted a whole weekend editing 5 posts down to barely usable content. Has anyone else found a tool that actually writes like a real person?

Holy cow, your client actually spotted it that fast?

That must have been something to see. I've been doing this long enough to know that kind of speed is rare, but when it happens it really sticks with you. Makes you wonder if they had a hunch or just plain got lucky. Either way, it's a good feeling when the client is that dialed in.

Miles_roberts might be onto something about hunches. Had a buddy once who swore his best catches came when he ignored the data and just followed a gut feeling about a location. Could be your client had that same kind of inner compass working for them.
