Spent $200 on a 'pro' brush pack that turned out to be a total scam

I was working on a big fantasy piece last month and saw an ad for these 'studio-grade' digital brushes that promised 'unreal texture blending'. The site looked legit, so I dropped $200 on the full pack. After downloading, half the brushes were just renamed defaults from my old software, and the rest were so badly made they crashed my program twice. I tried to get a refund, but the seller ghosted me completely. Has anyone else gotten burned by fancy brush packs that are just junk? What are some real ones you trust?

I used to buy any cool brush set, but that scam made me check reviews first.

Ever check the creator's name on Gumroad first? I got burned once, now I only buy from artists I already follow.
