Raster vs vector for logos, I was so wrong

Used to swear by raster. Thought vectors looked cheap. Then a client asked me to blow up their logo for a billboard. Pixel city. Had to redraw the whole thing in Illustrator. Took 6 hours. Never again. Anyone else make that switch late?

Oh man, I felt the same way until I hit that pixel wall too.

Yeah I learned that one the hard way with a t-shirt design that looked like a blurry mess.

Fixing resolution before scaling up would've saved that design. I always work at 300 DPI minimum and check the preview at actual size before I send anything to print. Learned that after spending good money on some banners that came back looking like pixelated garbage from a 90s video game. Now I double check every file before it leaves my hands.
