My portfolio page hit 1,000 views overnight after a random repost

Someone on a Discord server grabbed my speedpaint clip and shared it, woke up to numbers I'd never seen. Has anyone else had a random share blow up their showcase traffic?

Oh wow, that is a wild feeling! Ride the wave while it lasts, because these spikes fade fast. Put a simple contact or follow link right at the top of the page while the traffic is hot, and save a copy of wherever the clip got posted so you can thank them. Also check your hosting plan, because a surprise spike can sometimes cost you if you are on a cheap tier with a bandwidth cap.
