I think the 6.7 Powerstroke oil pan design is actually a decent setup
Just did a full reseal on a 2017 F-250 last week, the one where you have to drop the front axle. Everyone groans about it, but it took me and my apprentice 4.5 hours start to finish with a lift. The gasket kit was $120 and we had zero leaks after. It's a straightforward job if you're organized and have the right socket extensions. What's a diesel job you think gets more hate than it deserves?

My buddy's shop charges 12 hours book time for that exact job. It's a nightmare on a gravel driveway without a lift.

Yeah, I just rented a quickjack for a weekend... got it done in my garage without the gravel mess.

Honestly, working on gravel is not that bad if you use some thick plywood under the jack stands. I mean, people have been doing it that way for decades before quickjacks were even a thing. Renting that stuff adds up and you still have to get it to your house. Maybe it's just me but a driveway job feels more satisfying, like you really earned it.
