Spilled my whole coffee on the dog at the park and now I can't decide if I handled it right
I was at Riverside Park on Saturday morning with my golden retriever, and I set my cup on the bench for two seconds while I untangled his leash, and of course he bumped it and got iced latte all over his back. Half of me thinks I should have just laughed it off and wiped him with my hoodie sleeve since it was mostly milk anyway. The other half thinks I did the right thing sprinting to the water fountain and rinsing him for like 5 minutes while a jogger stared at me. Now I keep going back and forth on whether I overreacted or if any coffee on a dog is worth a full rinse. What would you have done, laugh or panic rinse?
