Took 3 months to realize our email sequences were triggering spam filters
Last year I was pulling my hair out over low open rates. We'd write these polished emails. Perfect CTAs. Still nothing. Turns out our marketing automation tool was adding tracking links that looked sketchy to Gmail. I spent 2 full days with IT digging through headers. Found the fix in 10 minutes once we knew what to look for. Now I check every sequence against MXToolbox before sending. Has anyone else dealt with this automation vs deliverability thing? Feels like a guessing game sometimes.

Feels like a guessing game sometimes" - man, that hits hard because I used to think automation tools were just set it and forget it. But then I spent a whole weekend wondering why our best email ever got sent straight to spam folders, and that changed my mind real quick. Now I actually test everything before hitting send because trust me, the guesswork is way more expensive than the extra 10 minutes.

Spending a whole weekend on one email sounds rough, but is it really that big of a deal? I just send and hope for the best, hasn't bit me yet.
