TIL our internal phishing test got more clicks than our actual campaign
I pulled the numbers for our Q3 report and realized the fake 'free pizza' email we send to employees outperformed the real product launch email by 40%, so now I'm honestly not sure who our target audience is, has anyone else seen this backwards metric in their own data?

Last quarter our fake "urgent: update your benefits" email beat our actual benefits rollout by 3x in opens. I think half the staff just likes clicking anything that looks like it could get them out of a meeting. Honestly, the real lesson here is that we should just change our product launch subject lines to "free stuff inside" and call it a day.
