Surprised myself by hitting 500 demo calls without a single no-show

I figured with all the spam and distrust around security vendors, people would just ghost me left and right. But I tracked it for 18 months and exactly 0 people missed their slot. Has anyone else seen better attendance rates since adding calendar reminders with a security-themed pre-read?

Picked apart the data from my end and noticed something weird - almost all my no-shows vanished after I stopped sending the standard "here's your Zoom link" email and switched to a stripped down text with just the time, date, and a dead simple question like "still good for Tuesday?" Makes me wonder if the pre-read gimmick is actually just a distraction from the real thing that matters: making the commitment feel personal and low friction. The three line text with no attachments or landing page links has been a monster for my booking shows.

Switched to the same format a couple years ago and saw my numbers flip almost overnight. The simpler you make it for people to just confirm or cancel, the more they actually show up.
