Learned the hard way that one big light in the middle of the ceiling was killing my whole living room vibe
Sat in my living room in Austin one night with the overhead light on and finally got why the place felt like a waiting room, harsh white glare bouncing off every wall. Swapped it for two $12 warm bulbs in cheap lamps on either side of the couch and suddenly the same room felt like somewhere I'd want to hang out. Has anyone else figured out what to do with that leftover ceiling fixture, or do you just leave it off forever?
