Why does nobody talk about the raccoons in Animal Crossing being way too aggressive?
I was visiting a friend's island last week and one of those raccoons (the Nook's Cranny ones, not Redd) literally chased me across the plaza because I accidentally ran past him without stopping. My friend just laughed and said it happens. I've been playing for about 2 years and never noticed they do that. Has anyone else had this happen or is my game just glitched?

Three years in and I've never had a raccoon chase me, sounds like your game is on some kind of hidden hardcore mode where the animals fight back.

Three years in" really got me. Man, I had a raccoon chase me once and it was the most pathetic thing ever. Thing was limping and I think it just wanted my bag of chips. I threw the chips and ran, not my proudest moment.

Ngl I had a similar thing with a squirrel once. Little dude was trying to break into my car through the window and I just stood there recording him. He gave up and flipped me off with his tail or whatever.
