Switched from a blade grinder to a burr grinder after 10 years

I finally gave up on my $20 blade grinder last month after dealing with uneven grounds for way too long. Picked up a basic Cuisinart burr grinder for around $40 and the difference is honestly ridiculous. My morning pour over used to be bitter or sour depending on which random chunk of bean got through. Now it tastes the same every single time, which sounds boring but is actually great. I can actually taste the notes on the bag instead of just 'coffee'. Anyone else hold onto a bad grinder way longer than they should have?

Wait, I gotta jump in here and push back a little. Honestly, blade grinders aren't all that bad if you know what you're doing. Like yeah they're uneven and they heat up the beans but for most people making coffee at home they get the job done fine. I think the real issue is people buy the cheapest possible one and expect magic. Ngl I used a blade grinder for years before switching and my coffee was still way better than anything from a gas station.
