Dropped $25 on a set of these clamp clips and my fort finally stopped caving in
I've been building forts with couch cushions and a fitted sheet for a while now, but the sheet always slid off the back of the couch and the roof would slump down on me about 20 minutes into reading. Last month I grabbed a pack of those big binder clips with the fold down handles at the office supply place for around $25, mostly just to have them around. Turns out they grab the sheet and the couch frame tight enough that the whole thing stays put, even when my cat climbs on top. I still need a better answer for the corners though, the clips keep popping off when I move around too much. Anyone got a trick for anchoring the sides without poking holes in the fabric?

Man, I feel this in my soul. The slumping roof is the worst part because you get all comfy and then it just sags onto your head like the fort is giving up on you. The binder clip thing is a solid move, I've used those for hanging stuff and never thought to try them on a fort. For the corners, have you tried tucking the sheet under the couch legs or weighing the edges down with a couple of heavy books? That way nothing pops off when you shift around, and you're not poking holes in anything.
