Shoutout to the $12 throw blanket I snagged at a garage sale in Akron
Found this beat-up fleece throw at a garage sale last month for $12. Ran it through the wash twice, and it came out softer than any of my fancy store-bought blankets. I thought it was just me, so I looked up the tag online. Turns out it's an old Pendleton from the 90s. Those things sell for over $100 now. My couch nap game has gone up like three levels since. Does anyone else hunt for hidden gems at flea markets or garage sales, or is that just my cheap side talking?

And that's the thing, most people just walk right past the good stuff because it doesn't look perfect on the shelf, but a little wear usually means it's built better. It's like the whole world got talked into buying new junk when the old stuff just needs a good wash.
