Went to a salon expo in Denver and noticed every demo model had the same haircut
Went to the Rocky Mountain Beauty Show last Saturday. Watched 4 different educators do demos. Every single model walked out with the same wispy curtain bangs and face framing layers. I get that it's trendy but I started counting, 11 out of 14 models had basically the same cut. Nobody showed anything for thick frizzy hair or cowlicks. My clients come in with all kinds of textures and I feel like we're losing touch with the basics. Anyone else noticing shows pushing one look over actual technique?

Quit whining, trends sell seats and these shows are about marketing, not teaching your cowlick clients.
