Tried a free construction scheduling app and it double-booked my crew three times in one week

I downloaded Fieldlens last month to keep track of my guys on a remodel in Charlotte. First week was fine but then it started glitching and overlapped two jobs on the same day. Had to scramble and call a guy at 6 AM to ask him to switch sites. Are free apps just always this unreliable or did I pick a bad one?

That free app situation sounds rough. Had a buddy who used a free scheduling thing for his painting crew and it kept sending his guys to the same house at different times because it didn't tell him they were already booked there. He ended up just using a whiteboard and texting everyone individually for like a year before he gave up and paid for something. Free stuff is hit or miss but that double-booking mess is just bad programming honestly.

Honest question though, did you check if it had any kind of calendar sync or team approval feature? A lot of those free ones don't bother with that stuff and just assume you're booking one guy at a time lol.

Read a review that said the free version lacks team approval. Dealbreaker for me.
