Noticed my job site tablet battery went from lasting all week to dying by lunch after the latest Procore update

I swear that v24.5 update three weeks ago added some background sync that's just eating power like crazy, has anyone else seen the same thing happen with their Samsung Tab on a full charge?

Everything's getting worse with bloatware updates these days.

Is it just me or does everything feel like it's slowly getting worse across the board? Bloatware is just the tech version of what's happening everywhere - more useless junk crammed in for profit. Feels like nothing is built to last anymore, just forced updates and planned obsolescence.
