Showerthought: my old phone bricking itself after an update made me rethink planned obsolescence
My phone from 2021 just stopped working completely after a system update last Tuesday, and I lost all my photos from a trip to Austin. I used to think the whole 'planned obsolescence' thing was just a paranoid theory, but now I'm not so sure. Has anyone else had a device fail right after a software push?
