Switched from hand troweling to power trowel after a job in Austin.

I was always against power trowels, figured hand work gave better control. Then last month I had a 2,000 square foot slab at a warehouse in Austin and the sun was baking it fast. Foreman told me to grab his power trowel or we'd miss the finish window. First pass I saw how even and quick it was, no marks I couldn't fix. Anyone else hold out on a tool for years then switch?

Read a guy online say power trowels trap air and cause blisters in the slab.

@nancy817 I've run power trowels for years and never seen that, usually the mix or early finishing causes blisters.

Bet that's way more about mix or curing than the trowel.
