DAE have a whole pour go sideways because one guy forgot to wet the forms
We were pouring a 30 by 40 slab out near Moline on a 94 degree day and had the chutes rolling at 7am sharp. My guy on the hose never hosed down the plywood forms and that first third of the pour flashed on us fast, started crusting at the edges before we even got the screed across it. We ended up cutting out a 12 foot section and redoing it, which meant an extra 4 yards and a second trip from the plant. The kicker is he swore the forms felt damp to him. Anybody got a trick to keep everybody honest on form wetting besides just yelling about it?

Man, I used to roll my eyes at guys who made a big deal about wetting forms, figured it was just something old timers nagged about. Then I watched a pour crust up on me the same way and now I'm the guy walking the forms with a hose myself before anybody touches a chute.
