Bus driver on the 7:15 in Denver waited a full 90 seconds for a guy running in the rain
Last Tuesday on the 7:15 route down Colfax, some guy in a suit was sprinting for the bus and the driver just sat there with the door open while 30 of us stared at the clock. She said "no one gets left in this weather" and he climbed on soaked and thanked her like five times. Does your driver ever break the schedule for a runner, or do you get the door shut in your face?
Ninety seconds of dead silence while thirty people stare at the clock and a soaked guy does the walk of shame to his seat? That driver basically turned the bus into a reality show for a minute and a half. Meanwhile my driver hits the gas the second he sees a reflection in the mirror, like he's fleeing a crime scene. But hey, fair is fair, "no one gets left in this weather" is a pretty solid line to drop before you make everyone late. Wish my driver had even half that heart.
