Question about a new way to clean my dive helmet camera port

I was working a job in Tampa last month and my camera port kept fogging up after about 20 minutes down. Out of stuff to try, I put a tiny drop of baby shampoo on the inside, like you would for a mask. It didn't fog at all for the whole 4 hour dive, but it left a slight film that messed with my video quality. Learned that anti-fog needs to be made for optics, not just any clear surface. Has anyone found a good brand that works underwater for hours without the haze?

Tried that once and got the same blurry mess.

Did you check if the lens itself was clean? I've spent twenty minutes troubleshooting settings only to find a greasy smudge right on the front element. It happens to everyone.

Yeah, that blurry look can come from a few places. I've found it's often the shutter speed being too slow for the lens length. If you're zoomed in, any tiny hand shake gets magnified. Try making sure your shutter speed is at least 1 over your focal length, so 1/100th for a 100mm lens. A monopod can make a huge difference too for stability without hauling a full tripod around.
