A bunch of crabs thought my dropped wrench was food

I was fixing a pipe underwater and my tool just fell. These crabs came over and started pushing it around like a toy. Took me forever to get it back because they wouldn't leave it alone.

Man, at least you got yours back. I drop tools in my shop all the time and they just vanish forever, like the floor eats them. Maybe I need to hire a bunch of crabs for fetch duty, though they'd probably just hoard all my 10mm sockets. Would still be more helpful than me on a Monday morning.

That seems a bit dramatic, @river_allen. Losing a few tools is just part of working in a shop. I've seen guys misplace entire drill sets only to find them under a pile of sawdust. It's not like the tools are gone forever, they're just hiding. Crabs for fetch duty? Sure, if you want your sockets organized by crab brain. They'd probably trade them for shiny washers. But on a Monday morning, even a crab might be more focused than some of us.

Last month, my buddy's shop had a 'lost and found' sale with dozens of wrenches. Why does it seem like the tools we need most are the first to go missing?
