That guy in the Seattle cafe who asked to borrow my pen

He ended up drawing a map of his favorite fishing spots in Puget Sound on a napkin for me. Anyone else have a random coffee shop gift that you still think about?

Honestly, that's the real sign of trust. Think about it. A fishing spot is more personal than a house key. You can change a lock. You can't make fish magically appear in a new spot if the secret gets out. Giving that up means he truly values the friendship over the resource.
