Had an aeropress at a little shop in Denver and now my french press is gathering dust on the shelf

What sold me was how clean the cup came out no grit at all even with a medium grind that always clogged my french press filter has anyone else made the switch and gone back?

Oh man that clean cup thing is exactly what got me too. French press always left that weird silt at the bottom and I'd end up drinking it or trying to avoid it. Aeropress just gives me this smooth coffee with zero effort and it's almost impossible to mess up. Plus the cleanup takes like ten seconds versus washing that french press screen and plunger. I tried going back to my press once when the aeropress was packed away and regretted it immediately. That muddy texture just isn't worth it once you've had the clean stuff.

@the_jennifer YES the muddy texture thing, once I switched I couldn't go back either, that silt is just gross.
