Wish I hadn't listened to that barista about pre-ground coffee
A guy at Bean & Brew in Toledo told me grinding fresh was a waste of money for drip coffee. Three weeks later, my morning cup tastes flat and I'm throwing out a $12 bag because it went stale too fast. Has anyone else been burned by bad advice from a shop employee?

Used to roll my eyes at the whole grind-fresh thing, figured it was just snobby coffee talk. But after getting stuck with a bag of pre-ground that tasted like cardboard by week two, I finally caved and bought a cheap hand grinder. Total game changer honestly, my morning cup actually smells and tastes like coffee again instead of just hot water.
