My $10 thrift store tamper fits like it was made for my portafilter
Found a heavy stainless tamper at a Goodwill in Spokane last Saturday for $10, took it home and it seats perfectly with zero wobble on my 58mm basket. My $45 one from 3 years ago always left uneven pulls, so has anyone else had luck with random used gear over new stuff?
