I finally gave up on my pour over after 3 weeks of sour, weak cups

I've been using a V60 for a while and everyone swears by it, but my coffee kept coming out thin and sour no matter what I did. Tried a coarser grind, a finer grind, different water temps around 200 degrees, and still got the same sad cup every morning before my shift. So last week I dug my old $20 drip machine out of the garage in Tulsa and honest to god, the coffee tastes better to me. I know that's like saying you prefer instant, but I'm tired of pretending the fussy method is always the answer. Has anyone else gone back to a cheap machine and actually been happier, or am I just bad at pouring?
