That old code is basically a time capsule showing how much you didn't know back then. The real pain comes when you gotta fix some logic in it and realize you barely understand what past you was even trying to do. It's wild how fast the learning curve hits you when you look back at your own work.

Three years ago I wrote a login script that literally checked passwords by reversing the string first. I still have no idea what I was thinking. That code works but it's honestly embarrassing to look at.
